My friends and family call me Emmie. My husband, Scoot, and I are high school sweethearts and have been married for nine years. I have two sons, DJ (age 6) and B-Bop (age 3), and two dogs (Harley and Mater). I have a masters degree in health and regulatory policy and now work for a communications firm. I’ve lived in every time zone in the continental US but now (again) call California home. I play soccer, have a love/hate relationship with politics, and enjoy reading, writing and hanging out with my family. I repeatedly try and fail to please all of the people all of the time. You’d think at some point I’d learn.
